We are very pleased to inform you that we have completed the reconstruction of the machine, together with all activities related to one of the most important investments in the history of the Mill’s business, in accordance with the plans and expectations. Despite the complexity and size of the investment, as well as the obstacles caused by the Covid crisis, our team of engineers, together with the main supplier Valmet and other external associates, managed to carry out the project and works in accordance with project tasks and deadlines. We are very proud of our team, which worked continuously for 3 months to ensure that the process of modernization of the machine was performed in accordance with the highest standards and criteria.

During this phase of the investment cycle, with a total value of 30 million euros, significant changes and improvements were made to our machine, the most significant of which are:

  •  Reconstruction of the former section(installation of the completely new fourdrinier forming section),
  •  Reconstruction of the press section (installation of Jumbo press),
  •  Reconstruction of the coating section (installation of Curtain coater)
  •  Installation of new winder.

Investments and further modernization of the Mill will be continued and completed next year, with the construction of a new mass preparation line (construction of a new plant and installation of state-of-the-art mass preparation equipment), as well as a new biological wastewater treatment plant. Main supplier of equipment and technology, as in the first phase of the investment cycle, will be Valmet, a global leader in the development and implementation of process technologies and service automation in the paper industry.
