Extended annual maintenance of the cardboard machine has been completed at the end of July 2013. A complete maintenance and checkup of the machine has been performed with special attention to maintenance of the stock preparation line, replacement of vacuum pumps (provides a higher and more constant vacuum) and full maintenance of crane lifts. As an addition to the annual maintenance a complete replacement of the drying hood has been performed making it a most important investment planned for this year. New drying hood will enable better drying of cardboard, but also a more efficient use of energy, which is especially important in the conditions of constant increase of energy costs. It is equipped with fire prevention’s and dust elimination systems. Total value of performed work and installed equipment amounts to approx. 1 800 000 EUR.
